Common Name: Yellow Diamond Dove
Description: Pale beige nape, back, rump, and tail. Wings yellow- or orange-beige with white spot pattern. Pale belly. Orange eye cere and grey beak, with pink feet.
Gender Determination: The orange eye rings of the males tend to be somewhat larger
Trainability: Sweet and gentle if time is taken to tame them
Length: Roughly 20 cm

Housing: For a pet, minimum cage dimensions of 13 x 15 x 17, with bars a half inch apart at most. The cage should not have a floor grate, as they spend a lot of time walking around.

Notes: Diamond doves should have access to grits, as they swallow seeds whole. Generally speaking, they need at least one companion, unless the owner is willing to invest significant time in taming and training.
